MD Mr. Mahjoob Shujau met with Executives of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Velana International Airport – 29th July 2021 – Mr. Mahjoob Shujau, Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), met with Executives of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai. 
At the meeting held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja International Airport, Mr. Mahjoob discussed the areas to create opportunities for MACL staff development at the Mumbai International Airport. 

During the discussion, it was decided to send MACL staff on exposure trips to Mumbai International Airport to gain the vital expertise and skills. In addition, both sides highlighted areas where they may partner on projects that will provide mutual benefits.

As the operator of the country’s largest airport, MACL’s staff development is essential to the company’s long-term development strategy. MACL has invested in staff development, and as part of this, special in-house training programs for management and supervisory staff have been conducted. MACL plans to take staff development and training to the next level for its more than 3,300 employees by implementing a sustainable staff development program and trainings tailored to the unique demands of the services offered at Velana International Airport.
