The World Renowned Ice Cream Parlour is now operating at Velana International Airport. The Award winning Ice Cream Giant has placed its mark at VIA giving travelers comfort with their frozen desserts. There are two outlets at VIA one at International Departure Gates and the other at Domestic Terminal Departure.

Swensen’s Story
The first Swensen's Ice Cream Parlour was opened by Earle Swensen at the corner of Union & Hyde in San Francisco, way back in 1948. Earle Swensen knew that he could succeed only if he gave his customers three things... quality, quantity and value for money. Key ingredients found in all Swensen's stores even today.

His recipes called for using only the finest ingredients and exacting ice cream making techniques. By using good old fashioned trial and error, he developed a perfect blend to ensure that Swensen's customers would get the maximum taste from each and every flavour.

Little did Earle Swensen realise, that one day, his name would become synonymous with delicious ice creams the world over.

Today Swensen's serves more than 180 flavours of ice cream that are enjoyed by both the young and old in over 200 Swensen's ice cream parlours all over the world including Asia, the Middle East and the USA.
